Class B Route Delivery Driver




This is a delivery position responsible for driving a Class B route truck for the purpose of delivering beverage products for customers throughout the San Antonio, Austin, and South Texas region. Hours will be day shift, Monday through Friday during normal schedule.



  • Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment prior to commencing route.
  • Partner with router to acquire delivery schedule and communicate delays, arrivals, and/or equipment problems as encountered.
  • Drive established route to deliver beer, wine, and spirits beverage products to assigned customers.
  • Assemble customer orders and place on hand truck to complete delivery cycle. Place product in storage and or account specific designated areas.
  • Record route activity and produce accurate and thorough delivery records.
  • Comply with company safety standards, Department of Transportation regulations, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations, and warehouse delivery policies/procedures.
  • Unload product from truck by hand or using a hand truck. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
  • Ensure correct delivery of product and collection of funds due.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess an Texas Class B Commercial Driver License
  • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Ability to adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements and the Federal Motor Carrier (FMC) guidelines.
  • Able to regularly and consistently lift and carry 45-60+ pound cases of product. Up to 500 cases per day.
  • Capacity to working independently on a daily basis with minimal supervision.
  • Prefer 3 year minimum driving experience with a CDL.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous delivery and distribution experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Familiarity with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
